Leading the 350 union craftsman we have working on projects throughout New England are the following individuals, who set the tone for how ECI engages with customers and executes our mission:
Jay Smith
President, Co-founder
Jay co founded East Coast Interiors in 2003, along with John Adams. As a co-owner, Jay currently serves as President of ECI and currently oversees general operations of the business and daily management of the finish division. The success of the business is born from Jay’s wealth of experience and knowledge across all positions in the industry. Prior to his role as President of ECI, Jay served every type of role in the finish carpentry business as a field carpenter, project foreman, general superintendent, estimator, and project manager.
Bruce Adams
VP, Operations
Bruce began his career with East Coast Interiors in 2009 after leaving his role as Northeast Regional Manager with Home Depot. He currently serves as a co-owner and Vice President of Operations and is involved in business development and sales, human resources, finance and accounting, and general operations of the business. He works closely with the rest of the executive team to develop and refine ECI’s strategy and implement all major company decisions. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Finance from Babson College.
Pat Caldwell
VP, Framing Division
Pat started his career as the Vice President of the Framing Division in 2013 after leaving his role as Vice President of US Construction. Pat has a demonstrated and successful history of running framing and siding projects from his experience with US Construction as well as his former role as GM of Project Management with National Lumber. Pat currently oversees the daily operations of the framing and siding division and manages the division’s project managers, coordinators, and estimators. Additionally, his wealth of experience and professional network greatly benefits the business as he is responsible for the business development, project estimates, and sales for the division. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Arizona.
Ken Condon
VP, Doors & Hardware Division
Ken started his career with East Coast Interiors in 2012 after serving as a lead estimator and project manager for Shepardville Construction. Ken serves as Vice President of the Door and Hardware Division. He is responsible for all project estimates, project management, coordination, and logistics of the division. Ken’s knowledge of product applications, engineering processes, and project management experience have helped ECI create an exceptional “turn-key” experience for our clients who engage our Door and Hardware Division.
